After reading the manuscript, I wonder why Alfred did not testify at trial on his own behalf? Yes, 300 police officers made a strong statement on the date of Mr. Trenkler's resentencing. No, Judge Zobel did not yield to undue pressure. Judge Zobel significantly reduced the sentence to the extent that the law allows. If Mr. Trenkler is innocent, I believe that your cause is best served through focusing your efforts on finding the manufacturer of the bomb. If your claims are true, there is a cop killer roaming the streets. I'm sorry to say that I wonder if Tom Shay Sr. did this himself, with hopes of receiving free police protection. If so, Shay Sr. allowed his own son to serve time for a crime that he didn't commit. The manuscript should be edited and published, with proceeds directed to the law enforcement unions. Officer Hurley died in the line of duty. Time served by any convict does and will not ever provide appropriate restitution to the family.

I have read the manuscript of "Perfectly Innocent" and believe Alfred is totally innocent. He should be exonerated ASAP, and those who made him go to Federal Prison should get him out. I know it is hard to get out of Federal Prison, but it can be done. He is a total victim of dreadful circumstances. Lindholm is a perfect example of things working for the wrong reasons. That is not justice at all. FREE ALFRED.

It is my wish that somebody do something about this, Alfred Trenkler is my Grandfathers Cousin. Our family name has been falsely tarnished.

I believe that my uncle Tom and Alfred himself are innocent of the 1991 Roslindale Bomb. My uncle Tom is a very good man and my mother Amy and my aunt Paula and my grandmother Nancy think Tom is innocent, and Alfred is innocent too. Please do your best to prove they're innocent.

I was able to attend the resentencing and while the outcome was disappointing Alfred will now for sure be out before death. I also was able to visit with him while he was detained in RI. His spirit is extraordinary and he is a pleasure to visit. He would welcome contact from old friends, new friends, and anyone with ideas about furthering his innocence.
